Where is your shop? Is there parking?

I currently work in Santa Cruz at Good Luck Tattoo. I’ll be visiting Long Beach off and on for guest spots as well as other cities in the US. Keep an eye on my instagram for updates!

Address:

Good Luck Tattoo, 1011 41st Ave, Santa Cruz, CA

• Parking is on the street or behind the shop. Please use the front door if you park in the back!

What are your rates? Do you require a deposit? What about tipping? Is that required?

My current rates are $200/hr (depending on detail) with a $150 minimum (anything under an hour usually will run around $150). I work quickly but can’t guarantee specific pricing. I will usually give a rough estimate on how much I think your tattoo session will cost, but I’m human and can’t be 100% accurate (some sessions take longer due to pain, placement, skin, etc). Color tattoos usually take longer because we need more time to saturate the skin.

Deposits are required for booking, and are applied toward the cost of the tattoo. I usually require $100 to book an appointment. Deposits are nonrefundable and will be forfeited if you no-show, are over 20 minutes late, or cancel last minute (within 24 hours of the appointment time). Since tattooers are self-employed, we don’t make money if we aren’t tattooing. Deposits ensure that we still get paid, but we really prefer our clients to show up on time.

Tipping is always appreciated! I’ve had clients bring me small plants, books on mindfulness, small gifts, notes, and actual cash, and I appreciate ANY small act of kindness.

How do I book with you?

I have a submission form on my website (under the booking tab).

My assistant (her name is Ash and she’s awesome) helps me with my scheduling, and she and I make decisions based on what projects I’m most interested in (I take style heavily into consideration, as well as the amount of creative flexibility, subject, and placement). Time constraints, my own physical health, and other factors play a role in my decisions as well, so please keep that in mind. Sometimes it’s just not the right fit.
